My prickly pear cactus in bloom!
There are more buds waiting to bloom,
but I did not want to wait and lose this
pretty photo.

I have decided to enlarge this one to an 8 X 10
and include it in my bathroom along with five
other photos from our road trip.
Just one more upclose of another cluster
of prickly pear cactus blooms.
Since I had the camera out, I took a few
pictures of my "pot" garden! Here are
the four containers of peppers.
Four containers of the Russian tomatoes.
Cactus is in the background.
Jet Stars, zucchini and Dittmers.
We raised the zucchini in hopes the
chipmunks would not eat the
flowers or the fruit. So far the chippies
are enjoying running in the "tunnels" in the
concrete block. Quite amusing to watch!
These are roses in Gail's backyard.
I took this from my deck, testing out
the zoom on the camera. I am pleased!
