South Jersey: July 4th, 2010

We decided to take a day trip to a part of New Jersey
where we had not been before. We headed off towards
Hammonton. Before we got there,
we saw this vineyard and it brought back memories
of Southern California.

Bill was patient enough to show me where the
grapes grow on the vines. I learned that all
grapes start off green, just like tomatoes!

It was also the first time I saw blueberry bushes.
Hammonton is the blueberry capital of the world.

I just had to take a picture of this crop of cabbages.
Corned beef and cabbage, anyone???

You may know I am a big Eagles fan and was so
excited to see one of the Chickie's Petes near
Atlantic City. These places are crowded with
Philadelphia Eagle fans during games and rallies.
Fly, Eagles, fly!!!

Quite by accident we ended up in Atlantic City.

I could not resist taking a shot from the car as
we attempted to find our way back to the
Garden State Parkway.

Are we finally on our way to the GSP?
