North Cascades National Park, WA

Washington is well know for its apples. Here is an
orchard of the delicious variety. Bill is waiting for his
apple pie!

We have now entered North Cascades National Park.

You can see plenty of snow on the tops of the mountains.

Snow is measured here in feet, not inches.

This is the road we just came up.

Each valley ...
... and mountain are more beautiful than the last.

Diablo Lake #1

Diablo Lake #2

The highest waterfall seen along Route 20 in the park.
We are now in Sedro-Woolley, WA and will
head off to Port Angeles and Olympic National Park
tomorrow morning.
