Grand Teton National Park: September 3, 2008

You have not heard from me in three days since the
internet is not available in the National Parks.
Welcome to Grand Teton National Park!

We stayed at a rustic mountain lodge - Togwotee Mountain
Lodge. Here is Bill posing for me. Love the lamps.

We ate dinner at the Red Fox Saloon, which is part of
the Lodge. Check out the bar stools. Togwotee got
over 700 inches of snow last winter. That equates
to over 58 feet. And, they never closed school!
Plowing is done continuously.

I dearly love the Tetons.

Enjoy the view.

Rafting on the Snake River.

Aren't these beautiful?

We had lunch at Lake Jackson Lodge designed and
built by John D. Rockefeller, Jr.

As the clouds lifted a little more, I could not resist
taking another shot of the Grand Tetons.

And one final photo before leaving for
Yellowstone National Park, WY.
