Little Rock, Arkansas

Before we left Greenville, near Dallas, I posed
for a picture with the mustang statuary in
front of our hotel.

In Texas we saw oil and gas being produced and
wondered where was the coal. In east Texas
we found it. Above you can see them
strip mining for coal.

I finally got the Arkansas sign I did not find
going west!

Arkansas is the birthplace of President Clinton.

Here is the house he was born in and lived in
during his first two or three years.

President Clinton and his mother left Hope to
live in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Here I am at the entrance to his library and park.

Bill points to President Clinton Avenue.

The Presidential Library.

This part of the library cantilevers out
so you can view the Arkansas River.
This complex has served to revitalized
the whole waterfront area of Little Rock.

Two large fountains frame the main entrance.

My artsy fartsy picture of the fountain with the
old railroad bridge and the river in the
background. Word has it the bridge will
be turned into a pedestrian bridge at some point.

The Clinton School of Public Service.

A beautiful sunset on the Arkansas River.
