A new sate and time zone!

There are only three routes that go across the state of Idaho.
Instead of traveling I-80 or I-90, we took Route 12.
Route 12 follows the river all the way.

The further we got into Idaho, I was amazed at the thick
forests around us. These go on for miles and miles.

As smaller rivers join this one, it eventually turns into
the Clearwater River just before Orofino, ID.

Small rapids can be seen every now and then.

I made it out onto one of the bridges to take this photo of Bill.
However, once I looked down and saw the river moving
through the wooden slats under my feet, I made a hasty retreat!
