Carson City, NV

This dry lake has just a little bit of water in it this year.

A sight along Red Rock Road, CA.

One of several shoe trees found in the western USA.

We have been bouncing back and forth between
California and Nevada.

A long distance view of Reno as seen from
near the top of Mount Rose.

Mount Rose Slide Bowl.
You can see the ski lift on the left and
a machine repairing the ski run on the right.

Our first view of Lake Tahoe.
It is the fourth largest lake in North America
with an area of 195 square miles.

Boating, biking and sun bathing seem to be the
major activities. We saw no one swimming
because the water is much too cold.
Lake Tahoe is shared by the states of
California and Nevada.

Lake Tahoe, Bill and me.

Good bye, Lake Tahoe!
