Four Corners, USA

Vermillion Cliffs, UT

Bill went off road a bit to find me the
perfect red rock to take home.

You can see that there was not much
red rock to select from!

Part of Grand Staircase - Escalante Monument, UT.

Lone Rock which stands in Lake Powell, UT and AZ.

This is the dam that formed Lake Powell.
It is one of the dams on the Colorado River
that is used to produce electricity and
provide irrigation.

Lake Powell is a popular recreational area.
This is a fresh water lake and doesn't
have the boat maintenance problems
of boats in salt water.

A big monolith in an arid landscape, AZ.

Bill is at Four Corners where he can be in four
states at the same time: Utah, Colorado, Arizona
and New Mexico.

Here I am standing in four states!

This is the only place in the USA where
you can be in four states at one time.
