Carabelle and Mexico Beach, FL

The sun came out when we came across
Carabelle Beach.  You will see the sand is finally
white.  The water was still rather murky.

Looking east you can see the Carabelle Beach
is not very wide.

You can see someone is flying a kite.

Since we had the time we took a ride over to
St. George Island.  We crossed another of the
many bridges this state has.  There are many homes
being built on St. George.  I took this picture to
show you what is called the "hurricane cut" on the
palm trees.  These are newly planted ones and
when they transport palms, they cut off the tops.
In about two years the palms will be full once
again.  Bill wants to be sure you also see
the widow's watch on the top of the house.

We ran across Toucan's Restaurant in Mexico Beach.
The shrimp was excellent!  Being here, listening
to James Taylor and Jimmy Buffet being played,
was like being in Key West.
