French Quarter, New Orleans, LA

We found this gecko climbing
one of the palm trees by the jacuzzi.

A long view of the inner courtyard
of our hotel.

At one end of the courtyard is the Courtyard Bar.
We have enjoyed several quiet evenings here.
Roxanne, the bar tender, is quite interesting
and amusing.

Our destination today was The Old Coffee Pot
Restaurant in the French Quarter.  We had seen
a review on TV about it months ago.

Here I am waiting to go in for lunch.

This is an unusual chandelier that
hung in our dining room.

Here is Bill enjoying his jambalaya and
green bean casserole.

Taken on St. Peter Street.

Here are some of the balconies on Royal Street.
You can see we had lots of company today!

This is the building one often sees when the
French Quarter of New Orleans is mentioned.
It is found on Bourbon Street.

A parting view of the French Quarter.
