Collegiate Peaks Scenic Byway.
The Collegiate Peaks in Buena Vista
include Mounts Harvard, Princeton,
Yale, Oxford and Columbia.
All are part of the 14r's in CO.
All are over 14,000 feet high!
This was taken along the Top of the Rockies
Scenic Byway. Yes, these are also 14r's.
There are 54 14r's in CO!!
Stopped in Leadville, CO. This town is
just under 10,000 feet high. The town
is surrounded with peaks like these.
I told Bill am running out of adjectives
to describe the incredible scenery
we continue to experience.
This is a frozen lake part way down
a mountain. A spectacular sight!
There was so much to see, but narrow
roads inhibited more picture taking.
