Picturesque CO Passes

On the road to Ohio Pass outside
of Gunnison, CO.

We were here a couple of years ago
in the fall.  Now we got to see this
with the snow on top!

"Dandelions in the Wild"
Not picked!
Not cut!
No weed killer!

"Castle Rocks"

Combination barn and bunkhouse.

Ohio Creek.
We could not go to the top of
Ohio Pass since some of the
culverts at the top had collapsed
and were under repair.

Artsy bale of hay!

Since we had the time, we decided to
go only part of the way to Cottonwood
Pass since that one was also closed.
Here is Taylor Reservoir.

The front of Taylor Park Dam.
The water was down about
15 feet from the first time
we had seen it a few years ago.

The is the back of the dam.  The water
is being released through two tunnels.
It is being released to maintain
the flow of the river.

Here I am hugging a
lodge pole pine!

Bill at the edge of the Taylor River.
