Yuma, AZ

Here you see just a small part of a huge dairy
farm west of Casa Grande, AZ.  Last night Bill
was talking to a young man whose family is in
the dairy farm business.  The company he works
for has 4,600 milking cows producing 50,000
gallons of milk per day.  We were both surprised
to see several huge dairy farms today.

I had to take this picture to show the dryness
of the Sonoran Desert.

Lo and behold we found alfalfa growing...

...and corn!

Came across some date palms the
further west we drove.

The dates grow at the end of these tassel like strands.
