Bismarck, ND

Newly baled hay along I-94.

This is the beautifully appointed lobby
at the visitor's center in Bismarck, ND.

One of the ladies who works there makes
all kinds of crafts.  I found this wreath
exceptionally beautiful and creative.

The state capitol complex in Bismarck.

The wide open road always takes my breath away!

We stopped at the Lewis and Clark interpretive
center a few miles north of Bismarck.  Bill is sitting
amidst statues of Lewis, Clark and the chief
of the Mandan tribe.  Without the help of the
Mandan Indians, the Lewis and Clark
expedition would have failed.

Crossing the Missouri River.

I got to see a few of my friends roaming
the curved landscape on the way back to Bismarck.
