Browning, MT

Six years ago we passed through Shelby, MT and
saw these lovely wind turbines starting to be
built.  There are now about 200 standing and more
being built.  And no, they are not noisy!

A farm nestled back in the trees about 6-7 miles
off the road. I love the sky and the patch work
type quilt appearance of the land.  The farmer
is rotating his crops from year to year.

This was our first glimpse of the Rocky Mountains
as we were heading toward Browning.  We were
approximately 30-35 miles away.

Traveling south on Rt. 49 towards East Glacier.

Greenery framing the Two Medicine River
with the snow capped mountains in the back.

These pictures were taken outside Glacier National
Park and are a prelude of what we hope to see
tomorrow.
