Theodore Roosevelt National Park (Badlands), ND

We saw our first sign of fracking as we were
leaving Dickinson, ND.

Standing at the entrance to the Painted Canyon, ND.

Overview of the Painted Canyon.

This buffalo was strolling the grounds
of the visitor center at Painted Canyon,

Welcome to Theodore Roosevelt National
Park, also known as the Badlands.

I took 40 pictures today, but will only post a few.

More buffalo along the road.

The prairie dogs are extremely entertaining!
They have the cutest little bark that makes one laugh.

We also went to the north unit of Roosevelt
National Park. ND.

Enjoy the views!

The National Grasslands is also a part
of the park.  Wildlife feed on these grasses.

We drove all the way to the end of the scenic road
to the overlook to see the Little Missouri River.
It was a very long day, but had a wonderful time!
Tomorrow we hope to tell you about Williston, ND;
also known as Boomtown, USA!
