Shelby, MT

Imagine finding the Port of Shelby in the middle
of Montana.

This is where the wheat arrives from our northern
states and Canada.

Here you see ship containers that are being
loaded.  These containers will be piggy backed
onto flat bed rail cars and hauled to a water port
for export.  The Port of Shelby is the main transportation
hub for Canada.

You can see other products that are waiting to
be put into containers.

Shelby is a railroad center.  Wheat, oil, lumber,
coal and dozens of other products are collected
at this land locked port.  The Shelby Port exists
to serve the exporting needs of Canada.
Note the thick haze in the sky.  We were getting
the smoke today from the fires burning in California.
