West Yellowstone, MT

The country side leaving Livingston, MT.

Granite peaks along I-95 West.

Scenic Gallatin River.

Never knew there was a town named Big Sky!

Hey, Sister Donna!  We found this small version
of a snow cat that is for sale.

Fall has arrived in Montana.

An earthquake in 1959 created a dam and
lake.  It is known as Quake Lake.

The earthquake broke a piece of this mountain
off sending tens of thousands of tons of
rock into the Madison River.  Even after
55 years you can see the landslide scar.

At its largest. Quake Lake was five miles long
and 190 feet deep.  You can see the bathtub ring
on the landscape that marks the high water mark
of the dam.  Since then, the dam has begun to erode,
gradually lowering the depth of the lake.

One of three women fishing in the park.

Bill captured this bubbling hot spring.
