Gunnison, CO Part 1

This was taken east of Montrose, CO on Rt. 50.

Our intention was to go to the Black Canyon

of the Gunnison National Park...

...but this was as far as we got!  There were

a couple of inches on the ground and it was 31 

degrees!  Too treacherous to go on.

So, we turned around and headed back to Rt. 50.

We are getting closer to Gunnison that

had no snow!

As we traveled east, we were surprised

to see so many people out boating

and fishing.  Too cold for us!

We returned to The Palisades Bar and Grill

where we had been over a year and a half

ago.  There were salt of the earth people

there and excellent food!

There are endless number of gates like these.

I know, this would be totally out of place

in Toms River!
