I had to add one more statuary from the hotel
in Craig before leaving. This is a big horn
Rocky Mountain sheep.
Found some "real" sheep along Rt. 13 N
towards Wyoming.
Missed this on the way into Colorado.
We have been here for two weeks and
I was sad to say good bye.
We are now in Wyoming and heading
for Rock Springs, WY.
You can see how the topography has changed.
The land is flat and arid with just
enough plant life for herding animals.
The geological name for this type of formation
is a hog back.
