San Isabel National Forest, CO

Are you sick and tired of your current job?
Here is a career choice you may want to
consider.  Only kidding!!!

The farmer side of me came out when I saw this
in front of the mountains.  Hope the planted crops
survive this unusual cold weather and snow.

I am a happy girl with the mountains and falling
snow entering San Isabel National Forest, CO.

An artsy picture of rocks, snow and icicles.

Climbing higher and getting colder.

Looking down one of the valleys in the light snow.

It seems like the road disappears!

9200 feet and 24 degrees.
The snow is really coming down.
Is this really May 1st?

Bill was getting concerned about ice
and snow on the road.

I took this through the windshield.
Yes, there is ice and snow on the road!
This area is called the divide.

One more photo taken through the windshield.

I found this stand of trees interesting
as we started to make our way down.

A maze of twigs covered in snow.
It is a closeup of the previous stand of trees.
