Yellowstone National Park: May 16, 2016

Welcome to our second day in the Park!

A bull buffalo.  I ended up taking 20 photos
of buffalo that day!

I got a chuckle out of this one crossing
the road.  He created a traffic jam!

Caught this female elk grazing
along the side of the road.

A female buffalo nursing her calf.

Gibbon River in the Park.

Roaring Mountain has become quite quiet.

The old road near Mammoth Hot Springs.

The Orange Mound formation is located
on the upper terrace of Mammoth Hot Springs.
It still spews water and steam.

A coyote prancing along the side of the road.

We finally found this black bear
sleeping near these rocks.  Look carefully
and you can see the paws and his
ear on the top.  Click on this picture (or
any other in the blog) to enlarge.
