Branson, MO: May 6, 2010

After leaving Kirkwood, MO (a suburb of St. Louis),
we decided it was time to get off the interstate
onto Route 7 to see the landscapes of Missouri.

I was surprised to see how green everything was.

I was fascinated by the rock structures along some
of the roads. Birds like to nest in the holes.
If you look closely to the left, you can see
one of the birds in the sky.

Lake of the Ozark.

We found a few mules along the way as well.

Route 65 just outside of Branson, MO.

Bill liked the way the engineers cut back on the rocks
to make room for the roads.

Resting by a big tree with Lake
Taneycomo in the background.
This was formed when they
dammed up the White River.
We met a very friendly local who
spent time talking about the area to us.

If you know Bill at all, you are aware he has
a fascination for dams. This is the Table Rock
Lake and Dam.
